1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that a website sends to your browser and that your device stores. Cookies remember settings, make the website and app easier to use, and help collect statistical and marketing information. Some cookies do not identify you individually; others contain a unique identifier.

2. Legal background and basis

We distinguish three main categories:

Consent-based cookies are only set with your explicit permission, which you can give, change or withdraw at any time via the cookie panel.

4. Google Consent Mode v2

We have integrated Google Consent Mode v2. Google services (Analytics, Ads) act on the consent choices you make in the cookie panel. Consent Mode v2 uses these four consent signals (flags):

FlagMeaning
analytics_storageEnables/denies storage for analytics purposes.
ad_storageEnables/denies storage (cookies) for advertising.
ad_user_dataEnables sending user data to Google for advertising.
ad_personalizationEnables personalised advertising (e.g. remarketing).

If you refuse consent, Google receives either no data or only cookieless, aggregated (non-identifying) data via these signals. You can change your choice at any time by reopening the cookie settings on the website.
